As an update for those of you who are asking when is the Firefox browser going to come to iOS devices, Mozilla announced a few days ago that they are working really hard on it for several months already and the project is now in a “limited” beta stage.
It seems that the new tools and features available in iOS 8 removed some of the restrictions that didn’t allowed for a new browser to be developed on this platform earlier. At the moment, the developers are working so the Firefox experience could be available on iOS in as many languages as possible, and as stable as possible. Mozilla also announced that a limited beta testing version is available via GitHub for the enthusiastic testers.
Soon enough you’ll be able to say “bye-bye” to Safari
